| An Apologetic of the
Resurrection of Jesus Christ
Meaning: A verbal defense. It was used by the Greeks in a legal sense, as a demand or appeal.
Title: Christ' resurrection power is adopted by each one that believes on Him.
Text: Romans 6:5-9 “For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin. Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.”
The greatest prove of Christ' resurrection today is in the lives of those that call themselves Christians. Christianity had as it's first converts those that were truly world changers. Romans 17:6b “These that have turned the world upside down are come hither also;” The resurrection power of Christ' today has saved teens from a life of debauchery and disease. It has saved marriages. It has given those with addictions the power and hope to quite destructive, sinful habits.
It has given unwed mothers the courage to have their children, and responsible men to be responsible. It has transformed a drunken playboy into an honorable president. It has given the dying the promise of heaven. It has given survivors of the dead soles in knowing their loved ones are now in the everlasting arms.
Are you rejoicing in the resurrection of Jesus Christ? The greatest event in human history has touched so many lives, but what about you? Trust Jesus Christ to be your Savior. Secure your place in heaven and become a world changer today! |
